The place for honest, anonymous feedback
Most people won’t tell you what they really think to your face. Not because they’re dishonest, but because it’s awkward, or they don’t want to hurt your feelings, or the moment never feels right. Secret Message exists to give that honesty somewhere to go a link where anyone can say what’s actually on their mind, without their name attached.
Why we built this
The idea started with a simple frustration: feedback you get in person is usually softened. People round the edges off criticism, or skip it entirely, and you’re left guessing what they actually think. We wanted a space where the softening wasn’t necessary where someone could type exactly what they meant and hit send, knowing it wouldn’t come back to them socially.
That’s the whole product, really. A link, an inbox, and nobody’s name on either end unless they choose to say who they are.
How it works
- Create your link. Pick a username and your personal link is ready right away.
- Share it anywhere. Instagram bio, WhatsApp, a Snapchat story, wherever the people you want to hear from actually are.
- Read what comes in. Messages arrive anonymously, in a private inbox only you can see.
What we’re trying to do
- Make honest conversation easier, by removing the social cost of saying something direct.
- Help people actually improve, since specific, unfiltered feedback tends to be more useful than the polite version.
